Scintil Photonics appoints Romanescu to scale photonics production

Scintil Photonics has announced the appointment of Alexandru Romanescu as Vice President of Process Engineering.

• Romanescu will lead process engineering, qualification, and yield across the SHIP™ foundry network as production ramps, and will own the transition from development to production discipline.
• The company says SHIP™ has been validated on Tower Semiconductor’s production lines, uses standard foundry flows and wafer-level testing, and its first commercial product LEAF Light™ is available through an early-access evaluation program.
