Seychelles approves digital AI strategy and government cloud

Seychelles’ Cabinet has approved the Seychelles Digital & AI Strategy 2026–2031 and the Government Cloud and Datacenter Project.

• The strategy will guide digital and AI transformation through 2031 and support digital public services, economic diversification, connectivity, digital and AI skills, and cybersecurity.
• The cloud project will create a sovereign in-country Government Cloud with two geographically separated datacenters; Phase 1 covers the foundational cloud and primary datacenter, and Phase 2 adds the secondary datacenter and expands cloud and AI capabilities.
