SLB and Microsoft launch cloud reservoir modeling

SLB and Microsoft have announced that agile reservoir modeling (ARM) integrated with Azure Data Manager for Energy is now generally available. - ARM is co-engineered for cloud scale and connects ensemble reservoir modeling with governed data, elastic Azure high-performance computing, and scalable storage. - The workflow integrates Petrel software, SLB simulators such as Intersect and Eclipse, Azure Files, OSDU-aligned services, and Microsoft Entra ID for access control; the companies also say they are working within the OSDU community on a more cloud-native reservoir-data standard.
