UK Homes for Ukraine privacy notice updated

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and the Home Office have published and updated a privacy notice for the Homes for Ukraine visa sponsorship scheme.

• The notice explains how personal data is collected, used, shared, retained, and protected for sponsors, visa applicants, parents/legal guardians, local authorities, and NGOs involved in the scheme.
• It identifies the legal basis for processing under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(e) and, where needed, Article 9(2)(g) and DPA 2018, and says data may be shared with local authorities, the UK Devolved Administrations, and processors including Made Tech and XBP.
