Vodafone Business and Cassava launch Egypt AI factory

Vodafone Business and Cassava Technologies have announced a strategic partnership to launch Egypt’s first AI factory and develop sovereign AI infrastructure in the country.

• The collaboration will provide full-stack AI infrastructure for local data hosting and processing, using NVIDIA accelerated computing and GPU-as-a-Service through Vodafone Business.
• Vodafone Egypt said the AI factory is part of its plan to invest more than EGP 20 billion in the current fiscal year, building on over EGP 125 billion invested over 28 years; the release says the partnership aims to strengthen Egypt’s position as a regional hub for AI and data centers.
