PowerCell to lease fuel cell systems to US data center

PowerCell has signed an agreement with a US-based data center provider to lease two PS190 fuel cell power systems for field validation in a data-center application.

• Agreement details: PowerCell will supply two PS190 fuel cell power systems on a 6–12‑month lease starting in Q1 2026, integrated with its Distributed Master Controller (DMC) to validate performance, reliability, and power quality in a demanding data-center application.
• Technology and objectives: The systems will use PowerCell’s DMC control architecture to coordinate multiple fuel-cell units as a unified system, supporting the data center provider’s goal of resilient, scalable, zero-emission operation and aligning with PowerCell’s strategy for industrial, cost-competitive power-generation duty cycles.
