Latvia modifies contract for new 20kV power cable line

Akciju sabiedrība “Sadales tīkls” has modified an existing works contract with SIA “Hanza-elektro” for construction of a new 20kV cable line to improve available power capacity in Baldone (Ķekava municipality) and Tome parish (Ogre municipality), Latvia.

• Contract value remains 698 055,30 EUR (Lot-0001) for construction work for electricity power lines (CPV 45231400), co-financed by EU Funds, with the contract originally concluded on 01/04/2025 and now modified to add cybersecurity requirements and to adjust certain general and special terms.
• Due to changes in legislation and delays in the deforestation process, an annex with cybersecurity requirements has been added (general conditions point 5.4 “Kiberdrošības prasības”, plus new points 15.22 and 15.23), and the deadlines in special conditions 2.1.1 and 2.1.2 have been extended so that the works are to be performed by 30/01/2026 and handed over by 30/04/2026; the notice (ID 846517-2025) is a contract modification notice under Directive 2014/24/EU and covered by the GPA.
