OVHcloud announces support for the bgproutes.io research initiative led by the University of Strasbourg.

• Partnership announcement: OVHcloud will provide compute and hosting capabilities, Bare Metal solutions, and network engineering expertise to support the bgproutes.io platform so researchers can develop, test, and scale BGP data collection and analysis in a secure, high-performance environment. The article is an announcement of OVHcloud’s support rather than a report of an already-completed transaction.
• Project details and scope: bgproutes.io collects routing data from a large number of independent networks, offers real-time visualisation, anomaly detection, and analytical tools (including machine learning capabilities and multi-source correlation). OVHcloud’s infrastructure will be used to process larger volumes of routing data and integrate new analytical tools.
