Q.ANT appoints Dr. Lars Bach as Vice President Operations

Q.ANT has appointed Dr. Lars Bach as Vice President Operations effective February 1st, 2026.

• Appointment and remit: Dr. Lars Bach will lead operations, infrastructure and supply-chain strategies, and advance quality and industrialization of Q.ANT’s photonic processors and server systems; role effective 1 February 2026, targeting commercial data centers and high-performance scientific and industrial customers.
• Background and company context: Dr. Bach holds a doctorate in physics with 20+ years in semiconductors and related sectors and was previously COO at MICLEDI Microdisplays; Q.ANT (founded 2018 by Dr. Michael Förtsch) operates a Thin-Film Lithium Niobate (TFLN) chip pilot line in collaboration with the Institute for Microelectronics Stuttgart / IMS CHIPS and is currently shipping Native Processing Servers to selected partners.
