Gorilla to acquire Shackleton and form Gorilla Technology Capital

Gorilla Technology Group Inc. has announced an MOU to acquire Shackleton Finance Limited and rebrand it as Gorilla Technology Capital.

• Main announcement: Gorilla has entered into a memorandum of understanding to acquire Shackleton Finance Limited (a UK-authorised AIFM and subsidiary of Shackleton Ventures) with the intention to rebrand the business as Gorilla Technology Capital and operate a regulated investment vehicle to attract institutional capital for AI data centers, GPU-as-a-Service, quantum technologies, next-generation cybersecurity and national digital infrastructure; completion is conditional on FCA approval and the parties intend to execute a detailed sale and purchase agreement subject to that approval.
• Background & structure: Shackleton’s senior management is expected to remain in place to ensure continuity; the business will operate with independent governance, conflict management protocols and investment committee oversight consistent with UK regulatory standards; any future fund distributions will be limited to professional clients and eligible counterparties.
