atNorth to build 300MW data center campus in Sollefteå

atNorth has announced plans to develop a 300MW data center campus in Sollefteå Municipality, Sweden.

• Main announcement: atNorth will develop a 300MW data center campus on a 50-hectare plot (Hamre 1) at Hamre Industrial Park, Långsele, Sollefteå, with the site expected to be operational in H1 2028; the site is fully zoned to enable accelerated construction and quick speed to market.
• Background and implementation details: the campus will use atNorth’s modular architecture, leverage strong grid capacity and renewable energy resources, and the company will pursue heat reuse partnerships to capture and redirect excess heat; atNorth is headquartered in Reykjavik, Iceland, has recent expansion activity in Iceland and planned/ongoing sites in Stockholm, Kouvola (Finland) and Ølgod (Denmark), and has announced partnerships with Nokia, Crusoe, 6G AI Sweden AB and a heat reuse agreement with Vesforbrænding.
