Resolution Copper awards $110 million in US contracts

Resolution Copper has announced approximately $110 million in US contracts to Major Drilling America Inc. and Redpath USA Corporation to advance exploration and underground development at its proposed Arizona mine.

• Major Drilling America received two-and-a-half-year contracts for deep-hole directional diamond core drilling from the surface and from approximately 6,800 feet underground, while Redpath USA Corporation will begin the first phase of underground development.
• The announcement follows completion of the Final Environmental Impact Statement, Record of Decision, and a congressionally mandated land exchange earlier in 2026; the broader program is an approximately $500 million investment. The company said recruitment is underway for the first 50 roles, with another 50 roles expected over the next six months.
