Ultra Ethernet Consortium releases Specification 1.1 for AI networking

Ultra Ethernet Consortium has announced the release of UE Specification v1.1, adding new networking features for AI and HPC deployments.

• The update includes scale-up networking improvements, UE Transport enhancements, In-Network Collectives (INC), Congestion Signaling (CSIG), and Programmable Congestion Management (PCM).
• UEC says it is working with OCP and IEEE to standardize and bring the v1.1 technologies into future specifications, while encouraging new members to contribute.
