Synergistic design of graphene oxide mediated polyaniline/α-Fe2O3 ternary heterostructure: Advancing photocatalytic degradation and adsorption efficiency

The research synthesized a novel Z-scheme ternary heterostructure composed of graphene oxide-mediated polyaniline with α-Fe2O3, achieving 99.8% degradation of brilliant green and 93% ciprofloxacin under visible light. The 10%PANI/GO/α-Fe2O3 composite demonstrated exceptional photocatalytic activity and recyclability over five cycles, with no structural changes confirmed by XRD analysis.
