Source: CAISO · Nov 01, 2024CAISO’s notice on “PG&E Restricted Substations Clarifications” says PG&E will review interconnection requests during the “cluster application/resubmission window” to confirm the point of interconnection, and the California ISO will tell customers whether “The interconnection is acceptable” or “The interconnection is not acceptable” (CAISO, 2024-11-01). It also states that “Interconnections may not add new elements to the substations in Tables G2 and G2-A. Entry to the substations must be via existing facilities.”

Report: More Records for U.S. Energy Storage Deployment

Aypa secures 1 GWh Arizona battery, Arevon activates 600 MWh Tesla battery
US-based companies Aypa Power and Arevon Energy have announced major battery energy storage developments in Arizona and California. Aypa Power has secured $398 million financing for a 250 MW/1 GWh battery storage project in Mesa, Arizona, while Arevon has activated the first phase of its Eland solar-plus-storage site in Mojave, California, featuring 384 MWdc of solar and 150 MW/600 MWh of energy storage capacity. The total combined battery storage capacity amounts to 2.2 GWh.
