UPERC seeks public comments on Adani Noida data center licence

The Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission has directed Adani Energy Solutions Step Eleven Limited to publish public notice for its application for a parallel distribution licence for a Noida data center park.

• The petition seeks a distribution licence for AESSEL to supply power within the Data Center Park being developed by DC Development Noida Limited at Plot No. 20, Sector 62, Noida.
• UPERC said the notice must invite public comments for 30 days, be published in two Hindi and two English newspapers, and the initial consideration will be limited to the area with current approvals and Letters of Comfort; additional plots may be added later through amendment.
• The order also requires No Objection submissions from relevant authorities if defence or other public assets may be affected, and asks the petitioner to upload the complete petition on its website until the licence is granted or rejected.
